The United States once again launched a tire anti-dumping and anti-subsidy investigation!

Beijing time on the evening of May 13, 2020 (Wednesday time, May 13th), the American Iron and Steel Workers Union submitted an application to the US Department of Commerce and the US International Trade Commission.It is required to initiate anti-dumping investigations on passenger car and light truck tire products from South Korea, Thailand and Taiwan, and anti-dumping and countervailing investigations on the investigated products from Vietnam.

The tire products under investigation may include inner tubes, no inner tubes, radial or non-radial tires, and the sales market may be the OEM market (original vehicle original market) or a replacement market.

At present, many tire companies in China have set up factories in Vietnam and Thailand. Including SAILUN Vietnam factory, ZCRUBBER Thailand factory, SENTURYTIRE Thailand factory, Linglong Thailand factory, Guizhou Tire Vietnam factory, etc., Southeast Asia represented by Thailand and Vietnam has become a new hot spot for Chinese tire companies to invest in factories. In addition, Shandong Jinyu Tire and Haohua Tire also reported that they are planning to build a tire factory in Southeast Asia.
